Pulled the engine filter and the existing is not an exact match to the new one I got. Diameter is good but as the picture shows the plastic flanges top and bottom are not there on the new filter. Actually, that is a better aftermarket filter, most likely a Wix/NAPA Gold filter, which has a finer filter media, and encapsulated end caps to prevent the problems often encountered with the paper end cap filters.
