I flip my pads too sometimes, also because in my case, it seems that the outers wear more than the inners, with my theory being that the inners are cooled more by the brake ducts?
After I rebuilt my calipers with new seals and boots, it "seemed" like the wear became more even, but I have nothing to back it up
