Not sure if I completely understand your concern.
Cam deviation should be measured when the engine is at operating temperature, and running at idle.
Based on your following statement:
“At idle cam angles are 2.48 and .92 for banks 1 and 2 respectively”
You are well within spec (-6 +6).
