Thanks Ciao. I finished the AOS replacement today with no problems. Only additional tools I used were a 90 degree pick to loosen the hose that attaches to the ‘funnel’ on the bottom of the AOS and my flexible extension led light/magnet/grabber to grab and reinsert the two AOS torx screws.

The AOS from Sunset is a newer revision than the one I removed (new is .01 vs old at .00):



Hopefully that’s the last time I deal with the AOS for the foreseeable future. Already on to the 2nd gear detent replacement and brake pads/rotors replacement.
