I have this problem, too!
Very aggravating when the volume level and radio station go the opposite direction as intended.
Can I get more details please on how this fix is performed? What product needs to be sprayed on the knob encoder, and where specifically should it be applied? Is radio removal beforehand recommended, and to what extent does the radio need to be disassembled? Would you consider writing a DIY for it?
