Very good points. I would agree that the meat of the power in the box s is from 4-7 rpm and it pulls very strongly for a 258hp car. The top speed issue is no big deal to me since I will probabbly never hit 160+mph. Sheer acceleration is what I want in excess because I like to play around with vettes and the like. The box s doesn't win all the races but it does everything very well or excellent with is something you can't say for many sports cars. I just wish it was more mod friendly. Motor trend declared the box s the best mid-engined car for the money in the most recent issue. Those are pretty strong words.
