It does make sense when guys are asking $2,000 for a set of used headlights.

The only dimensions that need to match are the bolting locations for the fenders, headlight buckets, front bumper absorbers, etc. Many car companies carry-over the sheet metal that is "under the skin" between successive model generations, or at least the car company I work for does. I don't think it's entirely out of the realm of possibility that it bolts up.

Anyway, no one has done it. Thanks for the feed back!
