I think that you'll find that many people here felt the same way about social media but the amazing thing is that social media CAN actually connect you with people that you would probably never have met in "real" life. Many of us do meet in person and its a great experience to find those kindred souls who share the same passion.
Now, the only thing I don't get is when you talk about "taking a break" from porn. I'd suggest simply getting a second monitor....
