As some of you have seen, my seats are totally shredded and pretty much scrap. Since buying the car I've been hunting down some sport seats out of a 996 or 986 that had no tears, scratches, or rips - was looking for a 7/10 in terms of appearance.
After searching eBay and CL, the going rate for sport seats is about $1k per seat in decent condition. I called up LA Dismantlers and they happened to have a pair of seats in decent condition. I got the pair for $1k shipped.
Decided that I would replace the seats today, in 90F and 75% humidity [emoji849] Here are some pics from today. The only issue I encountered is that I have a "airbag failure" warning light, how do I clear it?
