These are probably fine for 986 but folks be aware that 987 runs a taller tire than 986 - I got burned one time buying a used set of track tires from a Cayman that were too tall and rubbed on the front of my 986 Boxster. Check tire rack and compare the outer diameter of any non standard tires you might get against the OEM outer diameters. These are probably fine but you don't want to go much bigger than the OEM diameter, especially in the front.

Stock front diameter for 18" tire on 986 Boxster: 25.1" - the tires above 25.4"
Stock rear diameter for 18" tire on 986 Boxster: 25.3" - the tires above 26"
