I think they say to put the car in high gear and set the parking brake to hold the crank still. Some folks have used a belt holding style arrangement that goes around the outside of the pulley to hold. I got the RSS because of the counterhold tool. But for $100 I would have worked around it somehow
Maybe that is a different brand threadlocker and so not equivalent to loctite red? Otherwise dang...
