I sure hope not
I was worried about that. I tried to be smooth when I opened the butterfly to clean the edges and behind it. If you took it off you could probably do 99% without having to open the valve and if you had something narrow you could probably slip it through. I think there may be such a tool like a pipe cleaner sort of thing fir throttle bodies.
I didn't take mine off because I didn't have a new gasket and I was afraid I would not be able to reuse the old one. Also tbh I didn't even think to try it. Once you get to the TB like I did it is just 4 bolts and it is off...
