thought about it. will need to do injectors as well. thought about an aerocharger so as to not have to run oil lines and make things hotter than they already are - more expensive, but no scavenge pump, wastegate or bov. issues I see are (aside from everyone who will yap up about how you can't do FI on these engines):
- good luck finding anyone local who can tune a 7.2 dme (lots of folks can do the 7.8).
- air oil separator. can't get your vacuum from the intake when running FI (could run a one-way valve I suppose ...). most tuners just run a catch can which can present issues at the track, as well you no longer have vacuum on the crankcase. an electric vacuum pump would be ideal, but haven't seen anything that really does the trick.
