My US spec car has a type 53 relay in position 12 and it works just fine.
I wasn't able to find the fuse taps suggested, so I made my own from brass sheet. I just cut a couple of strips the right width (.210", 5.5mm) and bend them up so they fit properly. The one on the relay was a bit of a strange shape, but in the end it worked. Love this idea -- thanks for the suggestion!
