Not exactly today but over the last week:

Removed calipers and rubber brake lines. Painted calipers, and installed new EBC Red Stuff Pads all the way around.

The hardest part: Removing the rubber brake lines from the hard lines. I attempted this job once before with my cheapy Amazon flare wrenches and felt like something was going to break so I stopped. This time I was armed with some used Snap-on flare wrenches I got from eBay. I was able to remove the connection on the car side without too much trouble, other than grunting and swearing, but was able to remove none of the caliper side of the rubber line with them on the car. Once I removed from the car I was only able to remove one. I hit the rest with PBlaster, and then took to my mechanic and he let me clamp the bracket in his big vice, and I was able to get the remaining three. Putting it all back together was no fun, but hopefully I got them with no leaks. The first time I am sure that I didn't tighten them nearly enough as when I was bleeding the back right tire, part way through it started sucking air in through one of the connections. I went through and tightened them all again, remembering how tight they were, and cringing with every fraction of a turn, praying that something didn't give...

Brake feel is superb now, little bit of squealing I think due to the break in period on the pads, with one issue. The pedal is rock hard, but if I stop at a long light and hold the pedal, it is very hard initially, but then very slowly starts to go down. If I release and reapply it is hard again, but then starts to go down. I had my son check and we did not see/hear anything at the fittings for the stainless lines, so I think I may still have a little air in the system? I would think that would cause a soft initial pedal, but I hope it is that.

Got all of this done on Thursday afternoon, Friday I drove down to Daytona and on Saturday participated in an infield autocross and drove 3 touring laps of the road course at Daytona.

This is my favorite picture that my son took, and probably my favorite picture of the car so far.
