My guestimate is that for the actual swap (and not the inspection) to a manual trans is about 10 hours labor? So how much longer does a tip take?
Then you add the price of the bearing, and the new oil and filter to sanitize the operating room.
I needed a new flywheel so that added about another 30% to the cost. After using an aftermarket flywheel in the past I didn't like what I was "feeling" then, so I decided to go OEM on the Porsche.
