Oh, the shame! I've been driving around with a little folded piece of paper wedged behind the door handle for 2 years now. Finally got a new spring a couple of weeks ago, probably will take months before I have time to install it.
BTW, should I disconnect the battery to prevent being attacked by the side airbag?
