I feel your pain. My boxster has been down for 3 weeks with the hesitation issue while I replace parts and scratch my head trying to logically figure it out.
I'm feeling some serious withdrawal symptoms now as it was my Daily driver.
In the mean time I have resorted back to my Jeep Wrangler, and find myself trying to drive it like the Boxster...a little dangerous, (High CG and too much roll) not very satisfying and the gas mileage by comparison really sucks < 18mpg.
