Never felt the need to.
I have a lighter weight 986 S and it has plenty of grunt.
I am finding that the more weight I remove the faster this thing accelerates and I'm to the point where I feel the need for stickier tires than the Hankook V12's and to start playing with increased camber.
At this point I don't feel the need for more power for daily driving and Auto-X, however if I was racing in DE's having more for the straight sections would be nice.
With the second CAT's removed the acceleration has improved nicely.
