The Germans call it Gudntight!
I just put together a 3.6 engine block and tightened those bolts today, I would just approach them the way I would any other 6mm diameter bolt.
The main issue you need to worry about is using too much silicone between the block halves, since the excess bead on the inside eventually finds its way into the oil system and gives your engine a stroke...
