Good eye, Jager, no it's quite old. I like to curb my wheels right after I buy them, just to take the pressure off :P

Excellent point on the ends being sharp. I'll look at the other end when I extract it. I left it in, hoping it holds air while I'm out of town (didn't notice it until parking my car @ the airport). I'm planning on putting the donut on when I return to limp home...
