Brad Penn is producing at least 3 blends of full synthetic oil. Pricing locally from Wrench-Rite (they are a performance Truck/ 4WDR shop) was $7.95 a qt. The 5W-40 Joe Gibs DT40 is now $121 per case.
Available blends are marketed for high percentage ethanol fuels up to 15% ethanol

They started marketing these in May 2012
You are probably right that LN was endorsing their partial Synthec oils.
