Yes, I redline occasionally. Not a single worry in my mind. This engine loves to be revved. Cumulatively, my engine has spent 20+ hrs this year running betwnn 5K rpm and redline on the track and occasionally I bump it off the rev limiter. 98,000 miles with original IMS. Engine still runs like its brand new.
