Neek, I typically spend a little more on my boxster because it's not my daily driver and I want the best stopping power possible (just in case I really, really need it!)
I ran Textars and Mintex and found them both to be decent pads. Now I'm running Pagid reds and they're a little better IMHO.
Opinions about pads, oil, oil weight, and tire brands here on this forum are o'plenty and if you ask 100 people, you'll get at least 75 unique answers.
