In addition to needing a PST-2 or better, you also need:

The cardboard tag that came with the key since it has the code needed to program the alarm system to accept it. No one can provide this if the tag is lost, the remote part of the key is worthless.

The alarm system learning code. (available from the dealer if you ask nice).
