Depending on the location of the wetness, it could be coming from a few different sources:

1. Overflowing/clogged drains in the front trunk, to the rear of each side of the battery tray;

2. Torn, missing or unglued plastic foam liner under the door panel;

3. Leaking heater core.

4. Convertible top drains in the convertible top well, if water has migrated to the footwell after entering from the rear of the cabin.

5. Sometimes there is a small space at the lower corner of the front left firewall that can let in water.

If it is from the heater core, the liquid will feel a little viscous.
