If it is a factory Porsche battery, they are notorious for going bad if the car is not driven frequently. In fact, Porsche will NOT replace on under warranty unless the car is driven at least 12K miles per year.
Go figure.
Costco has a new battery for $47.00.
Works like a charm.
PS-if the battery is stone dead, you will get nothing at all when you try the car.
