dual tips

The standard oval tip appears to be tack welded to the muffler. A good custom muffler shop or welder should be able to remove the old tip, fabricate custom dual tips, and TIG them to the muffler. Probably cheaper than swapping mufflers.

As for polishing the muffler and tips try "barkeeper's helper" available at the local Safeway. It is a mild cleanser. It even removes burned on oil stains. I'd recommend using gloves and wearing glasses as the stuff contains oxalic acid.
