While you can mount them no problem, they should only be mounted in conjunction with a tire pressure monitoring system. It is almost impossible to tell when a run flat is low on air, so unless you're going to check them each time you get in the car, it is wise to install such a system.

As to performance, you'll notice a much firmer ride. Personally, I wouldn't bother.
