Cool Quick and dirty forum logo

I put this together really quickly. Maybe we can use it as a starting point for a banner. Let me know what you think.

Tried attaching the image, not sure why it won't work, but you can see it at the URL below I guess. I also emailed it to you Jorge.

Thumbs up I like the new banner...

Actually I like that it's been the same banner for about a week now. I also like that the site is narrower, without the left-hand frame. I think this design is perfect for the next 6-12 months, and shouldn't be changed anymore---it is important for the site to look stable and professional.

Great job!

Talking Another forum logo for your consideration

Well, had a bit of time to play with the logo and made some changes to it, for your consideration.

So whaddya think of this? I emailed it to you too, Jorge.

P.S. Having trouble attaching the image, it is a .gif, so I don't know why it hasn't worked. This is my fourth try. If this doesn't work, grab it from the e-Mail I sent you.

I need to....

I think I need to try and get BOXSTER and forum.com closer together. Will have to do that another time. That is, if you think you might want to go with this new logo. Open to suggestions, of course.

Talking New forum logo

Hey, the new forum logo looks great. Only thing I still want to do is get 'Boxster' and 'forum.com' a bit closer together. Other than that I really like how it turned out. I'm off now for 11 days, so I should have some time to play around with the logo and fix that.

Thanks,

Your contributions are appreciated. They look very professional and a hell of a lot better than my work

Post Fixing the logo

Thanks for the kind remarks.

I am going to try and fix that spacing issue between 'Boxster' and 'forum.com' before Sunday. Just found out my wife wants to take the laptop with her when she goes to Colorado Sunday evening.

I guess I could do it on my old desktop Mac too, but I prefer using the iBook I have since it runs OS X.

Talking Revised forum logo

OK, I think this will look better. Let me know what you think. Moved the text closer together and made some slight adjustments to the positioning of the layers. Also fixed the truncation of the image of the Boxster near the top of the windshield.

Question New forum navigation bar

I put together this new nav bar for the forum. Let me know what you think. I emailed you the files Jorge. Everything is sliced, so there are 8 images and the HTML is already embedded in them. Tested on my browser(s), should work. Let me know what you think.

Red face Bummer

Bummer about Porsche Legal getting after you about the logo and the name. It looked pretty cool with that graphic. Oh well, so we have to be kind of generic I guess for now.
