new 2003 boxster!

Thanks for the previous help everyone, ended up buying a 2003 silver boxster from the dealership here in Long Island New York with only 3000 miles on it. Just picked it up on Friday last week. I think its an outstanding car and was worth it.

Specs are:

2003 Arctic Silver Metallic w/ Black Leather Interior
Litronic Xenon Dynamic Headlights with Headlamp Washers
Bose Sound System w/ Windstop
17" Boxster S II Rims
Porsche Color Crested Wheel Caps
Steering Wheel with Color Porsche Crest
Porsche Stability Management
CD Shelf in Console
Heated Seats
Tip Tronic S
Cruise Control
Remote Control with Alarm

After 5 months of looking for a car that was basically loaded with options and specs I wanted, (other than color, my first choice was Rain Forest Green Metallic but Silver was my 2nd so i did not mind), finally my search is over. Porsche is by far my favorite car company, I hate driving any other car now that im used to this!

Congrats on your car. I hope you enjoy the Tip trans. It just feels so good when you push down that clutch and shift to the next gear. I hate auto stick specially on sport cars. F1 tranny is a different story tho, I drove my friend's Modena with F1 and that was the best experience I've ever had. Enjoy the car it's a beauty.

Congratulations on the new '03, very nice! Too bad you couldn't find the Rainforest Green you wanted, but hey AS is beautiful in any case. Not that I am biased or anything.

Enjoy the ride!

Congrats! Now all you need is clear side markers, silver hood crest and some new wheels and you'll be all set!

Congrats and welcome to the Group! I did the same thing buying the car with 3,300 miles last December. Daily runner now have 9120 miles. Love using it and now that it is getting warmer the top is down all the time. Enjoy it.

Thanks a lot guys - I just have a question - I would like to install a 6 Disc CD Changer... Now the one at suncoast (CD Changer Porsche CDC-3) says..

"Not compatible with the MOST Bus System, and therefore, will not fit cars made after 8/02." (which i have, since the car is an '03 with Bose and the 223 deck) Do I just need to order a wiring harness, some type of adapter, or a totally different CD Changer, whats the deal with this? ...Thanks in advance!
