Nice Race Seats I found....

Found these race seats on E-Bay. For the price of a pair it's really good even after you add the shipping cost. Thought I should spread the word. You will have to visit the sellers stor for the new revised selling of these seats. These would look great in my car. Looks like they come in different colors too.

Are they Recaro seats? They sure look like 'em! If not, they still look sweet! I think they would definitely go with your ride! Good luck!

"euro style race seats" and a bunch of anime (sp) of cartoon chicks, well, they must be great seats - They may be "stylish" but I saw NO information about manufactuter or quality. TUV approved is nice (and is a valid Euro rating) but who says they really are TUV approved? Just because someone typed it on an EBAY website makes it true?

Recaros START around $500 a seat and go into the thousands (Factory Porsche GT3 seats are made by Recaro. They run about $2500/pr). I am not sure if still true, but I believe RECARO is an OEM supplied to all the German brands (BMW, Porsche, Audi, VW, M-B)

What's wrong with the regular seats? I find them to be comfy and decent.

I like my "sport" seats. I've sat in GT3 seats, but, I am a bit wide to fit comfortably for too long. But yes. Certainly worth the $$$

I agree with those weary of the 'deal' on Ebay. If you click on the enlarged view of the seats and look at the details, you can notice that the quality of the work is not that good.

Just my thoughts.

Set of 2 seats, for $85? And an $86 "buy it now" (which roughly equates to what the seller thinks they're worth). 22 negs is alot in my mind for so few transactions. If you dig into them, they're not particularly complimentary.

You usually get what you pay for...even on E-Bay.

Did you see the shipping cost? It was something like $150.00 Which is where allot of people make up the difference in the price. I will keep everyone posted.

Don't do it, very cheap quality. These are the same seats that you can get at Pep Boys etc. First they come with the generic seat mounts that is made to fit in any vehicle no height adjustment etc. Also they are rather bulky in the rear and will most likely not fit the Boxster due to the lower hump on the rear fire wall/engine access also very wide seats.

When people risk their lives, shouldn't it be for something very important?
Well, it better be.
But what is so important about driving faster than anyone else?
Lots of people go through life doing things badly. Racing's important to men who do it well.
When you're racing, it's life. Anything that happens before or after is just waiting.
