Wrecked Boxster... not mine, someone elses

This has got to be one of the worst looking wrecks i have ever seen, This thing looks like it 1980's Opra and Shar Jones leaned agaisnt it!

Weird. All that damage and the wheels look like they're in good shape... and there are no actual scratches... and the hard top stayed on during the abuse... I'm curious as to what could have caused this damage.
