So the project is finally back and making progress. The 3.2L engine is in, but I am still working on getting the air intake set up (waiting on a part that should arrive today). I ended up using an airbox from a 987 Cayman S, and 996 mechanical TB. In order to make the airbox fit, I had to do a bit of sheet metal work (think saw and hammer), but it's in an area you will never see unless you pull the engine.

New clutch and pressure plate are installed.

All the parts for the 6-speed transmission install are on hand.

Still trying to decide on the exhaust. I've got both the 986 and 986S exhaust, but am thinking of building a less restrictive setup as I did with my SPB.

Picked up a set of bilsteins PSS9s for cheap from a racer moving to MCSs and also replaced all wheel bearings while I was in there. New LCAs as well.

Hoping to have it off the lift by the end of this weekend, then will get a friend to flash the ECU to a 996. Can't wait to start driving it again.
