My details are all good... Just had it thouroghly checked out and it got awesome grades across the board. Its a 1999 Arctic Silver with 37030 miles. Black interior and top. And those rims, well, thats what really sold me. I bought it off of Ebay, paid $22,700.00 which seems to be a pretty good price. But back to the rims, I saw them and had to have this one and it really gets looks because of them!!! Just ordered my plates "FIJSTER"... My wife loves it too, and thats really all that matters, right? Looking forward to some hot summer nights with the top down. Anyone know of any Nor Cal clubs?

Mine is a '99 to, same colors and mine had 37,250 on it when I bought it in May 2002 for $26.5K. Has 69K on it now, no problems. Your wheels are really cool looking. Mine has chrome turbo look wheels on it or whatever they are called. I like 'em.

Im still having an issue with starting the car... Once in awhile, I turn the key and nothing at all, then I will try again and bam, it starts right up. I thought it may be that im not pushing in the clutch all the way, but I made sure it was all the way in??? any thoughts.

the common two issues.

1 the clutch not in.

The possible FIX: try putting a zip tie around the switch. it is easy to see just get on your back and look up by the pedal.

pros/cons:

you will no longer have the annoying clicking sound when shifting. you will be able to start car in gear.

2 possible near dead battery in key

Fijster. I had a similar experience when I first got mine. My wife could always start it, I couldn't always get it on the first try. I thought there was something wrong. There wasn't. You just really have to push in that clutch pedal ALL the way, that is the trick. Can't tell you how many times my wife sat there laughing at me because I couldn't start the darned thing. You will get the hang of it after a while.

Might be the ignition switch since that is a common problem on the older cars, but usually there are more symptons. Jeff

Congrats. So you've arrived at life huh? Would've thought that a 911 Turbo or a Ferrari F355 would be a lifelong obsession...

Well, that's just me. But, good for you! Also, nice wheels...I have the Sport Classic II and it's a btich to clean. LOL.

I personally never dreamt of Ferrari. You can't be daily driver of these things...and i am not a turbo fan...but i think a GT3 would be the ultimate thrill for me :-)
I have time for that...but I have already the wheels :-)))
