2000 986(S) Road Ready!

Long time lurker, first time posting here. Thought it was about time, now that my car is road ready. Today was such a perfect day on the road I just had to make a post, I think I caught the bug.

2000 986(S)
Tiptronic :/ (still great fun)
36k miles
3rd owner

What got done?

Minor/Major services...
Brake fluid flush
Spark plugs
Spark plug tubes
Multi rib belt
Ignition coil
Engine mount
Full underbody panel repair / replacement
Wheel well and mudflap assembly
Four wheel string alignment
Front and rear tire balance
PDR - 17 dents removed
New grill inserts
Windshield washer system leak repaired
New wiper blades
Re-indexed steering wheel
Full detail including 4 headlight assemblies and wheels
Other minor esthetic trim and panel repair
New plastic window(done by previous owner)

What is left?

Polish windshield: badly scratched
Transmission service: early service to extend life?
"golf balls in the trunk" sound solution (suspension?)
I'm sure there will be more to come...

Very nice and welcome The "golf balls" sound is most likely your rear control arms. I just did mine and it makes a big difference. Pretty easy to do and it won't mess up your alignment. I used the 997 part and bought it on Amazon.
