Perk's Porsche

Hello. Bought my 99 Boxster back in February and I think I finally have her the way I want lol. Let me know your thoughts on the hard top. I bought it like new on eBay. My wife thinks I should have it painted. I like the vintage look. Here's what I have done.

18" BBS wheels with Continental Xtreme Contact tires
1" inch wheel spacers with black lug nuts and Porsche center caps
New soft top
Seats from a 2009 Cayman pulled when the car was new
White dash dials with blue led
7" Pioneer Avic-8200NEX touchscreen double din radio
Arctic white hard top

Welcome!

It looks great! The white top has got to go, though. I agree with your wife...get it painted or toss it.
The picture with the soft top up looks much better.

You could try to put film on it. I did carbon fiber for my track top.

Car looks nice. Like everyone said, she'll look much better once the hardtop is painted. May I ask questions about your seats from the 2009 Cayman? Were there any issues with them mounting directly up without any issues?

The seats were a direct fit as far as the frame. Four bolts. Could not have been easier. I had a local shop wire them up since the plugs were different. Found them on Craigslist a few hours from me. Beautiful seats.

Ok for paint should I match the car or maybe go with black to match the soft top look?

I have a local shop that already did some paint work for me. I can drop it off to them

Color match the hard top, the seats look great, very nice The spacers bring the rims out more than I would like, just my opinion for whatever that's worth. All in all a great looking Boxster

Those seats are quite comfortable and supportive, think you will like that upgrade. Now...the tires.....going for a Monster Truck look? Yikes! But hey, your car and if you like it, whatever.

I agree with everyone who suggests that you match the hardtop to the car.

Otherwise, very nice.
