Another Vegas Trip...

Here are some photos I'd like to share from my Vegas trip this weekend.

Here's my rental car. It was a little beat up... a '99 with 44k on the clock. An auto (perfect for Vegas) with a check engine light on (until I meddled with the gas cap). Do they always start off in 2nd gear from a stop? This one did. Also had a burnt out headlight (doesn't look cool cruisin' The Strip at night like that). I'm sure the many drivers before me have beatin' on this car. I dug the rims.

Just after I picked up the car Saturday morning, I spotted this little trio. Help me identify these more specifically. No badges of any kind.

Notice the center exhaust? Now check out the 2nd car's bumper. -Slick tires too.

And number 3. Those pipes look a little small. They all had Michigan manufacturer plates

Oh, and here's some dork in front of a Phantom... this car suffers from gigantism. Seriously, it's huge!

And speaking of the double-R, The Gumball 3000 was passing through Vegas and I was able to snap a TERRIBLE picture of another Rolls participating in the rally...

A lot of hot cars there this past weekend. I've been to Vegas many times, but this was the most crowded I've seen it. Good times though...

Huh. So the GT3s have arrived eh? Could that wing be any uglier?

Guess it was a bunch of test mules. Maybe testing the cooling system?

I rented from Dream Car Rentals. There's another place called Rent-a-Vette too that does the same thing. The minimum rental time is 5 hours. You may as well do it for 24 because it's not too much more than the 5 hour rate. Plus, 5 hours just isn't enough time with these cars. Ferraris are the best! I wish more than anything they had a F430!

The spoilers on those Porsches in the pictures do kinda look funny, but in real life they looked just fine.

When people risk their lives, shouldn't it be for something very important?
Well, it better be.
But what is so important about driving faster than anyone else?
Lots of people go through life doing things badly. Racing's important to men who do it well.
When you're racing, it's life. Anything that happens before or after is just waiting.
