Just got my brake calipers painted! Yeah!

I just got these done and wanted to show them off to my fellow forum members.

Here are the steps that were followed.

Calipers were degreased and lightly sanded - then recleaned.

Primed with "White" high temp primer

3 Coats of paint

Lettering applied

1 Coat of Clear

Here are some pics of the work in progress.

It only cost me $150 plus tip!!!

Looks good. What did he charge and how did he get the caliper clean without disassemble?

COPYCAT!

Looks good!

BTW, make your picture smaller. Can only see a tiny bit of each at a time and have to scroll around the screen to see the whole thing.

Contact info for brake guy.

I believe he used brake cleaner.
I high pressure washed them the day before and pre-treated them with Simple Green.

I am not associated in anyway with Tate - Im just a board member who wants to pass along a great deal on quality work! BTW - he's an Audi guy.

Sorry for the giant pics I didn't know that was going to happen.
