Have they done anything about getting the top into the service position?

just had my box in to the dealer for an oil change...they said nothing about difficulty getting it into the service position...sorry ,no pics though.

as to the $850 price, I got lucky..i bought it off someone on ebay who just sold her box after ordering from GAHH..they shipped her top directly to me...she infact paid $1045 according to the invoice they sent me..

I think that's all accessed from the bottom of the car.

Yeah, oil change doens't require going to the top of the car at all. The oil filter and the drain plug are both at the bottom of the car. There's nothing else to do other then that. You fill the oil through the trunk.

I don't understand, if service position access is really is a problem, why can't Gahh just make the window with a zipper hinge like the Miatas? It can be bigger and will not interfere with the top motion under service. You would just have to unzip it before lowering.
