My TouchScreen / Speaker Upgrade '01 Boxster

So my cup holder broke, and instead of getting a new one, I decided to do a little project and remove it, and remove the existing stereo and in that empty space install the Pioneer AVH-X3600BHS 6.1-Inch Bluetooth HD Mixtrax Player.

And I installed new dash speakers, (Kicker brand)


So heres the project:









Also I added that Porsche logo background on the screen to make it look more official.



I ran the AUX cable from the back of the stereo, under the console and the cable comes out at the ash tray.

And the microphone for bluetooth calls is placed behind the steering wheel.

Looks good! The cup holders are pretty useless anyway.

At first there was an annoying hissing, high pitched sound, but that was because the Pioneer EQ was on a preset 'Custom' EQ. I noticed that & changed it. They sound VERY good, at the highest volume, they're still very clear with little bass, and the door speakers have great punching bass so it's a great/clear combination.
