Brand new (to me) 04 Boxster S

Hello all,

I'm thrilled to to say that I just got the car that I've been lusting after for years. I just bought an 04 S. I bought it from a Porsche dealer outside of Chicago. It's a one owner car that was bought from, maintained at and traded into the same dealer. The car exterior is in immaculate condition and the interior is near mint. You'd never guess that it's a 10 year old car. Here are some pictures:

I love it to death. I hope it doesn't return the favor. This car is amazingly fast. I can see why we don't see more off these things wrapped around trees. This is going to get addictive. First two mods I'm looking at are:
1. Add the OBC stalk
2. Upgrade the stereo, amp and speakers

Let me know what you all think.

Tony

Hope you get allot of enjoyment out of the car. Looks great. If you can I'd ditch the front plate.

The sound of the engine at 4000 rpm and up trumps any stereo you could ever install. I only turn mine on to check if it still works.
Beautiful car at any rate. Hope you get many smiles per gallon.

Nice, clean example of the breed. Sounds like a wise purchase. Mileage?

It currently has 107000 miles on it. I think the original owner was driving in a vacuum because the entire car is freakin mint.
Since this image, I've removed the front plate (planning on bumper plugs soon) and de-ambered the side markers. It looks sweet.

Except for the drive home when I first bought it, I probably haven't turned on the radio once. I have only ever listened to one CD (Rush: Exit Stage Left) and have never listened to the radio part. The built-in music is all I ever listen to now. It may sound crazy (because I listen to music all the time in my FJ) but in the box, I like just to drive..

Nice looking car. I'm biased as my 2002S is the same color! Sure are a lot of miles on it though. I'm with boxstersteve this is the first car I don't use my sound system while driving. I enjoyed hearing the engine too much.
