2000 Boxster S ... My new toy

After a long while of searching and researching this forum I went ahead and picked up this Boxster S! I can't wait to tastefully upgrade this piece of Porsche culture. It's a 2000 with 66000 miles. I drove right from the dealer ship straight to the top of Pikes Peak 14110 feet (last pic)!! What a great first ride that was !!

Yes Pikes Peak was crazy. It took me about 35-40 min to get to the top, driving casually, the Pros took under 9 min. We went up one week after the race and the road was littered with marks around every corner.

Upgraded the exhaust with a full topspeed system, added LED side markers, and in the process of modding my DEPO LED tail lights. Looks and sounds like a whole new car

Depo 97 04 Porsche Boxster 986 Red Smoke Tail LED Bumper Side Marker Lights | eBay

This is the exact set I purchased, fit and finish is great with the set I have. I however in doing the tail light mod to turn the LED bank for fog lights into the blinker and using the old amber bulb location for another reverse light. Found the mod on this forum.

I will post pics of the tail lights once I get them installed, waiting on a resistor yet.
