Simple is Best

The only thing I wanted to do to my car (gray also) was to remove all orange parts of the lights and it seems you already have that! I would leave it this way looks good!

I sure agree, after the amber lights are removed the car looks great. I am also a fan of these 10 spoke wheels, (I have a set)

I wonder how they would look on the silver in a slightly darker contrast, not black mind you, but more of a BMW M dark nickel? Although if they are in good condition, simple is best!

1) Leave it alone for a year
2) Make the mods that make you happy

The car looks beautiful as is, no amber! I would lose the front plate though and get some bumper plugs.

Yep! Leave it. But paint those wheels gunmetal gray. I did that to mine and love it. Those OEM 10 spokes are my favorite wheels by far.

Only spacers, coilovers and one size bigger rims! The lines of an 986 are further good!

Sinced you asked, it is my philosophy to never be in a hurry. Case in point, my car drives/looks the way it does today because it was 10+ years of slowly improving the car as I put the miles on and deemed necessary or desired.

Be sure to enjoy your car along the way, it is back to that old sayin, "It is not the destination, but the journey."
