Saying Hello from Nova Scotia

Just wanted to say hi from Halifax. I bought my first Porsche this summer - a 2000 Boxster S. Very happy with it so far! My family has had some Porsches over the years - a couple 914s, a 944 and my folks have had a '97 986 for awhile now which lead to me buying mine.

Here are a few pics:

Welcome!
As stated, enjoy as much quality time with your Boxster as you can, whether driving, washing or fixing. Especially driving! They are amazing vehicles.
And my wife wonders why a 10 minutes run to the hardware store takes an hour and a half. She just doesn't get it...

Beautiful! I never get tired of looking at Porsches! I used to fly into Halifax years ago, loved the city and the people! You have some great places to drive to there. Enjoy!

Thanks folks. I'm enjoying it and bringing it back to spec along the way. Almost time for winter storage though. Another month at best before it's tucked in the garage until spring.

Thanks - it is a great province, I agree! You're right, that picture was at Peggy's Cove. It's about 30 minutes from my home and it's a nice windy road there! That's unfortunate about your Acadian ancestors - a dim point in history. A beautiful spot though - the Annapolis Valley.

Home of the Trailor Park Boys. If he could afford one, I'd like to think that Bubbles would drive a Boxster.

Not sure what Bubbles drives (although he can more than afford one) but John Paul Tremblay who play Julien had a beautiful 911 Turbo. Not sure if he still has it or not as I havn't seen it lately. I used to see him driving it off and on.

How is the Cabot trail in a Boxster??

You have got to post some pictures for us. I drove in a wonky chrysler 200....the steering in that was verging on dangerous under power

To be honest, I haven't done the trail yet in the Boxster! A shame really but it's on the to do list. Looking like next year at this point. That will be a fun trip!
