New Kinesis K58 Rims

Here are some pics of my new wheels.
They're Kinesis K58's in 8.5" front, 10" rear, running Pilot Sports 225/40 front, 285/30 rear.
I found them lightly used in a basic finish, and had a new wheelshop in san francisco paint / polish them to my taste. The shop did a great job, so anyone that is thinking of wheel refinishing let me know, and I'll get you the contact info.

These replaced a set of factory carrera 5-spokes with black painted spokes 7.5" by 9" shod in 225/265 pilot sports (which are for sale now). I had those wheels spaced out 15mm front and 21mm rear, and with the 1" lowering really made the car feel glued to the ground. These kinesis rims are artfully done...and provide an excellent overall feel...feel lighter / quicker and provide great stability so far.

from the side...

ironically, after I got the wheels on and got the car cleaned up, I wanted to take it somewhere cool for good pics...ended up getting only these shots in my driveway, so I dodn't get any from far enough away to get a good overall pic...ironic, because later that day I took a sunset drive with my 7 yr old son on Skyline Blvd (overlooking the Pacific Ocean) and it was a beautiful night!!! but I forgot my camera.

Wheels look great! Random item of interest: Glad to see you display the American flag!

Fuhrius,

Beautiful wheels! Are those chrome lug bolts? If so, where did you get them? I've seen some chrome lug bolts in a catalog, but they were terribly expensive.

Thanks,

ddb

thanks bro

and nice white boxster...

I've actually got chrome ones on the front and black on the rear right now...still trying to decide which I like better. But, yes, those are chrome bolts on the front...don't know what brand they are / where they were bought...I got them with the wheels. the heads are little smaller (17mm vs 19m?) to give you a little more leaway in dealing with the smaller openings on the kinesis wheels.
