Got my first Boxster! 99 Zenith Blue
hey all. Newbie here but happy to join the club. Picked up 99 boxster with only 31k miles on it. everything looks virtually new. Love it. Did some minor mods so far. Here goes:

added colored crest to steering wheel
put colored crest wheel caps on
added usb adapter into lighter port
put colored ceest on trunk centered above boxster name
replaced factory head unit with pioneer with bluetooth, ipod, usb etc
have yet to put on porsche decal that shows when rear spoiler is up
have yet to put on windstop porsche decal
added 2 ultimate cup holders
the red clip
did not have obc but had dealershipprogram so temperature shows now
added logo'd valve stem covers

well thats it for now. looking for tips or advice on anything boxster

Welcome! Like the pics. That is very nice low mileage for a 99. Sounds like you've got the mod bug already . Hope you are enjoying it.

yeah love the color! of coirse looks like I have an MAF issue already, and aside from.filling gas, I've never done work on a car but I plan.to clean it myself, I am good at learning and reading directions lol

hmmm tough one. well let me see

hood emblem
trunk crest
horn crest
wheel cap crests 4
calipers 4
around 11 I guess

will add 2 more with the wind stopand spoiler decals

Hey - That's MY car! Oh wait - different wheels.

When I ordered mine in 99 - I got Zenith Blue / Grey/ Grey (17" Kenisis supercup wheels) - the dealer tried to talk me out of it. When it arrived they liked it so much they stuck it in the showroom and got three orders for the same I did finally get rid of the Grey top - that was in fact a bad idea, really tough to keep clean where the creases are. Probably would have been OK if it'd found a better top shampoo and treatment 12 years ago. The newer top is Blue with glass - it's better.

Love that color STILL after 13 years. Yours looks to be in a bit better shape than mine at the moment. I'm about to do a Major OVERHAUL'N on mine.

That is one of the rarer colors...congrats on your new Porsche. I guess if you get a license plate frame that says Porsche, you can add one more to your count.
