New to the Forum **some pics**

Hi All,

Finally got a chance to snap a few pics of my 99 986, planning to lower it soon if I am going to keep my car.

Cheers!

Good lookin' car. like the wheels with the black paint. how are you planning to lower it - I was looking at some springs (Bilstein?) the other day that are supposed to drop the car an inch - anybody know how hard this is to do at home?

Let me be the voice of caution and ask if lowering one's suspention makes tire wear more rapid. I heard it did.

My back tires have 6k on them and I'm wondering how much longer I'll have them. I'd hate to make it worse than it already is!

Thanks all for the comment, I would like to powdercoat the center piece in black, but worry about resell value, since it has "Gemballa" writen on the spokes.

I am planning to go PSS-9, I sure like the HR and Bilstein combo (easier on the wallet), but apparently it does not give the agressive lowering and the comfort.

Still deciding... the best price I found for PSS-9 are 1700 from Tire Rack.

RandallNeighbour: what kind of suspension are you running, are you inner part of the tires being worn out quickly? have you tried alignment or camber toe in/out adjustments?

do a search for PSS9 on this forum and Rennlist. I'm sure there are others who have a better price than Tire Rack.
