Never Winter Driven???
Took this snap on my daily commute to work this morning.
Temperature was -15C and as you can see, in my city (Ottawa) we use a lot of SALT on the roads. Not sure what this guy was thinking???

If you can afford to drive it year round, why not? If I had a Lambo I would drive it every freakin day!

+1. If I could afford it, I'd do the same thing. It must be hard to get all seasons or winter tires in sizes that will fit that car though.

I understand there is very little ferrous metal in that machine, so should one really be worried about the salt? I live in a warm climate, so that is a serious question.

The aluminum, stainless steel and rubber parts will all corrode/dry out/degrade with the salty winter driving. It's certainly not good for the car to drive around in a salt bath, but if he doesn't care, more power to him.
If you look at the underside of a Boxster that's driven in the winter compared to one that isn't, there's a pretty noticeable difference.

They reported on the radio (Team 1200) that the car belongs to the former Ottawa Senators goalie coach. Apparently he is in town training Ray Emery for an attempted return to the NHL.
