My GT2, GT3 and TechArt kitted Boxster S, nearly nothing left untouched :)

OK, so Ive had the car for 2 months.

I bought it completely stock (aside from lowered springs).

In the two months I have had it, I have aimed to get the car looking exactly the way I want it, mods including stereo, paint colour, bodykit, and pretty much everything.

As of now the car is nearly finished, just waiting on a few bits (which should be here/installed within a couple weeks), and the car is 100% finished and as I want it.

Unfortunately since its raining badly in Brisbane, I cant get decent pics, so this will have to do for now.. Will update thread when I get some good pics that arent taken with a dodgy pocket camera or phone.

Finished & Nearly finished progress shots:

Looks great!!

Boxtaboy 10-11-2010 08:10 AM

Nice job, but how come the car looks seal grey in half the photos, and silver in the others?

sparker 10-11-2010 01:45 PM

Glad you got the mod done, the de-ambered front lights look fantastic on your boxster - well done!

It was arctic silver originally, then i got it sprayed seal grey when the kit was fitted.

in some of the new pics it still kind of looks silver in some light, but i guess thats just due to the metallic in the paint?

Oh Mark, forgot to ask more about your front door speaker setup. Do you have any more pictures of the wood baffle you created? And how are your speakers fired? As in, your using kicker woofers via a crossover to your polk audio dash mounts? Or something else?

The baffle was made based on a template i found from this forum (ill see if i can find it).

the door speakers are running off the fifth 'sub only' low pass crossed over amp channel on the soundstream 800.5 - not off the front speaker channels. They are running in parallel (2 ohm) off the one single sub channel.

J.Khlok 10-11-2010 07:39 PM

wow....your car looks amazing with that kit

jhandy 10-11-2010 07:53 PM

could you post the name of the kit? or at least where you bought it. Is is fiberglass? Looks great would like to do something like that myself.

what bulbs are you using for your fogs?

Christian H 10-16-2010 11:18 AM

WTF!

Tough looking Boxster fella! I love that rear bumper(got to find one in the UK) and your "amberectomy" indicators finish the front off perfectly (makes you sweat a bit doing it doesn't it)
well done.
